Caribbean Confection Co. Ltd. started its manufacturing operations in Barbados in 1954, in St. Mathias Christ Church. The company moved to Waterford in St. Michael for a short period after which, in 1959, its owners A S Brydens moved it to its current location Edgehill St. Thomas. In June of 1998, after being a manager in the company for a number of years Mr. Keith Edghill along with his brother, David purchased CCC Ltd. from A. S. Brydens and the brothers are still managing it today. During its period of existence CCC has served local, regional and international territories, with its growing range of candy and Silver Cloud Baking Powder. Their range of candy includes Cough Drops (Brown Mints) and Glacier Mints to Mango sweets and toffees. CCC’s handmade candy and baking powder can be found at all leading retailers across Barbados. Here at Eleven Island, we offer Eucalyptus Mints (Brown Mints), Ginger Mints, Golden Peanut and Paradise Plum.
